Liverpool have until the end of today to appeal Javier Mascherano's charge of improper conduct.
The Argentine midfielder was punished by the FA for his sending off at Manchester United on Sunday.
Mascherano needed team-mates to drag him off the pitch after disputing ref Steve Bennett's decision.
And former Liverpool star Phil Neal told Sky Sports News he deserves to be punished.
