
Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison had 22 points each and led the Wizards to just their third win of the season {and only 1st one on the road}. It is also their 1st win against an Eastern Conference team.
DeShawn Stevenson added a season-high 21 points and Butler also had 10 assists for the struggling Wizards.
It snapped a 3 road game winning streak for the Nets, which included getting Devin Harris scoring 34 on Utah and 47 against Phoenix. Harris ended up being the Player of the Week last week. He only scored 18 points this game, 3 after halftime.
Nick Young added ! 12 for Washington and Jamison grabbed 8 boards to add to his 22 points. Vince Carter had 16 points for New Jersey, Keyon Dooling had 14, and rookie Brook Lopez had 10.
