More offseason thoughts and predictions {SEA, SAS, SAC}

Here are more of my offseason thoughts and predictions. Seattle, San Antonio, and Sacramento.

Seattle {or Oklahoma City} Sonics

The Sonics are still in Seattle, but I'm calling them Oklahoma City.

"Oklahoma City" gets the #4 pick in the draft this year, but they still need more years to have a Western Playoff Team. Especially because the Western Conference is packed. Kevin Durant is their star player, but they need a couple more star players, not just one. The best they have for the other two main stars are Chris Wilcox and Jeff Green. They could pick up someone like Jerryd Bayless in the draft, but they need a good Center, not just a point guard. Nick Collison {only 6-9, very undersized}, Johan Pe! tro {stinks}, that Mouhamed Sene guy, and Robert Swift are their main centers. They aren't very good at their center spot, so I say they need a guy like LaMarcus Aldridge or Mehmet Okur at that position.

Grade: D

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs barely got knocked out of the playoffs by my Lakers, and it made me happy. They win alot, but I think most NBA fans know why.

Cheating.

Flopping, no calls, fixed games, crying to refs, dirty play, just about everything. It's horrible. Sometimes they win {SOMETIMES} by skill, about 10 of the 82 games of the season. Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili are good, they just need to stop faking things. If the Spurs didn't cheat like! they do, there would be more San Antonio fans. I'd say about ! 80% of t he people who watched the Spurs-Cavaliers series in the Finals last year were probably cheering for Cleveland.

Anyway, the Spurs main guys are getting old, like Duncan, Bruce Bowen, Robert Horry, and a bunch of other guys, so the Spurs need to find someone to replace them. Maybe a new young star that can play PF and C like Duncan. Horry and Bowen could just be replaced by Gerald Green or something.

Grade: B+

Sacramento Kings

The Kings gave up 1 of their three main stars, Mike Bibby, to the Hawks. And they could get rid of Ron Artest, too.

They could trade Artest and say- ! Brad Miller or something and get a guy like Corey Maggette {along with Al Thornton} and the Kings would dominate. Instead, Miller is injured almost all the time, so is Shareef Abdur-Rahim so they start Mikki Moore, and Artest keeps getting arrested for stuff.

And so.. if you exclude some of those guys, the Kings would have a lineup of: Spencer Hawes, Moore, Francisco Garcia, Martin, and Beno Udrih. Yeah, they need help with their lineup- and their bench.
